Reverend Dr. Odell Montgomery Cooper

Rev. Dr. Odell Montgomery Cooper is an advocate for mental health, playwright, and author. As the Founding President of Interruptions: Disrupting the Silence, LLC, she fosters discussions to dismantle mental health stigmas. With personal experience driving her, she speaks against gun violence and generational trauma, and authored “Interruptions: Disrupting the Silence” and the “Let’s Talk” workbook. Recognized with the Community Healing Network’s “Community Healer Award,” she has presented at NCTSN and discussed the book the Vatican Library.

A motivational speaker and adjunct professor at Hartford International University and Grace Theological Seminary, Rev. Dr. O also serves on boards such as NAMI and CONECT. She holds degrees from Howard University, Hartford International University, and Grace Theological Seminary. A proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., she enjoys traveling, chess, gardening, and cycling.
